Linkedin launches Career Explorer to help job seekers

Agency: Linkedin has launched a new Career Explorer tool to help people find out new jobs. The tool matches a person’s skills with jobs.

The employment oriented social media launched this tool on Thursday to map the skills of job seekers in open roles.

Tech Crunch writes that this tool matches a person’s skill with jobs that he or she otherwise might not have considered. The tool provides pointers on what extra skills the person needs to learn to become eligible and relevant for the job.

Apart from this, Linkedin is also launching new skill portal to highlight digital skills; subtle profile pictures “frames” to indicate what you are looking for work or when you are hiring.

Linkedin has more than 722 members in more than 200 countries in the world.
