Pfizer, Moderna Covid 19 vaccine could be ready for use within a few weeks in US

Agency: COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer Inc and Moderna Inc could be authorized for distribution within weeks in the US, according to Aljazeera.

The inoculation will begin as soon as this year, said US Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar on Wednesday.

The States are preparing to distribute the vaccines within 24 hours of receiving authorization, the officials said. They said that adding complex cold storage requirement will not be a problem.

Around 40 million doses of the two vaccines will be made available by end of this year, said officials.
