Security forces on high alert after PM recommends dissolution of parliament

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has recommended the president to dissolve parliament.

Following the decision of the PM, a security ‘alert’ has been announced.

Constitutional experts say that the constitution does not have a provision for the dissolution of parliament at this point of time.

Security forces have been kept on high alert to avert any possible violence in various parts of the country.
