US Congress passes $900 billion COVID package

Agency: United State Congress has passed $900 billion package of coronavirus pandemic aid.

After a months of political disturbance, Senators approved the bill late on Monday.

According to BBC, the support includes direct payment for Americans and support for business and unemployment programmes.

It is reported that President Donald Trump will sign the package into law.

The bill passed by a vote of 359 to 53 and in the Senate, it passed by 91-7.

The stimulus includes one-off $600 payment to most Americans.

This will boost unemployment payments by $300 per week.

The aid include$300 billion support for businesses, and money for vaccine distribution. Schools and tenants.
