NepalKhoj Report 23 Dec, 2020

Agency: It has been reported that ethnic minorities in the UK are less likely to take a coronavirus vaccine, reports BBC.

According to study from the Royal Society for Society for Public Health, only 57 percent of the black, Asian and minority (BAME). On the other hand, 79 percent of White people are ready to take the vaccine.

Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the DHSC for the COVID-19 vaccination programme Nadhim Zahawi warned that this is the impact of conspiracy theories in various online platforms.

Christina Marriott, chief executive of the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) said that anti-vaccination messages have been specifically targeted for some ethnic and religious society, writes BBC.

The vaccine rumors include messages that vaccines could change someone’s DNA or that they could inject a microchip.
