Experts fear that US President Trump could take “reckless” military action against Iran

Experts have warned that US President Donald Trump could take “reckless” military action against Iran in his final days in office.

The US flew B-52 bombers over the Gulf three times in past month.

However, with less than a month left in the White House, now Trump is under pressure from key allies in the Middle-East namely Israel and Saudi Arabia to take action against Iran.

Experts on Iran and US Foreign policy experts have said that as Trump has few weeks left and he is capable of extremely erratic behavior, writes Al Jazeera.

Iran has warned US not to escalate the situation in the run-up to the Soleimani assassination anniversary.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zari tweeted “Instead of fighting COVID 19 in US, Donald Trump and cohorts waste billions to fly B52s and send to armadas to our region.
