NepalKhoj Report 4 Jan, 2021

Harshit Bansal, founder of Renani Jewels in Meerut, India has set the record with his design.

The ring named the Marigold, or “The Ring of Prosperity”, has a circular band with an ornate floral design.

Bansal has used thousands of 38.08 carat natural diamonds, according to Guinness. According to CNN, the ring weighs a little over 165 grams or 5.8 ounces.

The designer who set a new record at Guinness said that he was inspired to break the diamond embossed record in 2018 when he was studying jewelry design in Surat, India.

He completed the ring design on November 30, 2020.

Prior to this, an Indian designer Kotti Srikanth from India had set a record designing a ring with astonishing 7,801 diamonds in October.
