Walkathon to mark International Anti-Corruption Day

Janaki (Banke). On the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day, Nepalganj Walkathon has been organized. The walkathon organized by BAS Nepal started at 9:00 am from the local Ganeshman Chowk.

This is the third year that the walkathon has been organized with the objective of increasing awareness against Corruption in Nepalgunj.

The International Anti-Corruption Day is observed to mark the adoption of the Convention against Corruption by the United Nations General Assembly on December 9, 2003.

The walkathon is being managed in collaboration with various government and non-government organizations. The walkathon will end at Dhamboji Chowk after passing through BP Chowk.
