Chief Minister Cup Volleyball: Gandaki and APF playing for the title

Mahendranagar (Kanchanpur). Gandaki Province and Armed Police Force (APF) Club are facing each other in the final of the 3rd Chief Minister Men’s National Volleyball Tournament being held here today. Gandaki Province entered the final after defeating Nepal Police Club by 3-2 sets in the semi-final held on Friday.
Similarly, APF club made it to the final after defeating Tribhuvan Army Club by 3-2 sets. Before the final match, there will be a match to decide for the third place between the Nepal Police Club and Nepal Army Club. The Chief Minister Men’s National Volleyball Tournament is organised by Sudurpaschim Sports Council in coordination with Kanchanpur District Volleyball Association.
The event began on January 28. A total of 10 teams including three departmental teams and seven provinces participated in the competition. The winner of the competition will receive Rs.400, 000 in cash while the runner-up walks home with Rs.200,000. The third place team will receive Rs.100, 000, according to Volleyball coach Jagadish Prasad Bhatt.
