Prabhu Bank to continue operation of extension counters at Nepal-India border
Kathmandu: The extension counters of Prabhu Bank in Nepal-India border areas will remain in operation for more time.
The extension counters operated by Prabhu Bank in collaboration with Nepal government, Ministry of Finance, Department of Customs, Tripureshwar have been functioning in different parts of Nepal. The extension counters have been operating at seven customs offices in Jhapa, Sunsari, Siraha, Mahottari, Nawalparasi, Kapilvastu and Kailali. The extension counters will be operated for some more time for collection of taxes and customs duty.
CEO of Prabhu Bank Ashok Sherchan and Suman Dahal, DG of the Department of Customs had signed an agreement for the renewal.
CEO Sherchan said that the operation of the extension counters will simplify the process of tax and customs duty collection.
