Anti-trust cases against Facebook

Agency: A dozen of states in the United States of America and the federal government sued Facebook on Wednesday in anti-trust lawsuits, according to CNN.
The social media has been sued alleging that the company has abused its dominance in the digital marketplace. It has been said that Facebook has anti-competitive behavior.
The Federal Trade Commission is seeking permanent order in federal court that could require the company to divest assets including Instagram and Whatsapp.
The states have been calling for the company to be broken up, if necessary.
According to CNN, the state suit has called for a court order requiring the social media to notify state officials of any future acquisitions valued at $ 10 or more.
