Trump urges to amend the stimulus package, says its “wasteful”

Agency: US President Donald Trump has urged Congress to amend a bumper coronavirus stimulus, reports BBC.

He has urged to increase the stimulus payments to $2,000 to every American citizen.

Through a video message, he has urged the lawmakers to “remove wasteful and unnecessary items”. Through the message posted in Twitter, he said that the package is “really a disgrace”.

On Tuesday, President-elect Joe Biden said that the relief bill was a down payment.  He said that he would pass another Covid relief bill after entering the office next month.

On the other hand, President Trump said that the Covid relief bill has nothing to do with Covid.
